Moody/Elegant Look

This Moody look was the 2nd style option in the decoration styles I wanted to create. It’s amazing how just changing the rug, curtains, pillows and art can change the whole look! Notice the furniture is the same but for the gold and black side tables. I got the amazing velvet green curtains from Amazon - so rich and elegant. The deep greens and blacks gave a depth to the room - it feels luxurious. I borrowed the candle holders on the table from my mom - we thrifted them a few months ago. Remember to successfully pull a design together, you want to repeat colors and metals in the room to create a space that looks “on purpose”. Therefore, there are green elements - the curtains, pillows and plants, there is black of course in the rug, pillows and decor, then there’s gold in the tables, candle holders and gold leaf in the artwork on the gallery wall. The white parts of the artwork and the white mantle tie in with the white furniture. This combination of furniture and decor create a cohesive look that feels right!
